The Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management course enhances the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, along with experience in leadership and management, over a wider range of enterprise and industry.

Candidates at this level are expected to use initiative and judgement at this level to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with perfection in accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters. The candidate needs to utilize their cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources. This will enable them to transfer their knowledge to others, with creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or overcome complex problems.

Entry Requirement
Here’s your check list to check your eligibility:-
  • Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of course commencement.
  • Some prospective students may be asked to undertake an LLN assessment or enrolment interview prior to acceptance.
  • Must have either completed a Diploma or higher qualification from the BSB Business Services Training Package or have two years full-time equivalent workplace experience in an operational or leadership role
  • Must demonstrate English level of IELTS 6.0 overall with no band less that 5.5 or equivalent, such as: IBT 46
    PTE Academic 42
    CAE 162
    OET B
    Duolingo 90
    General English Upper Intermediate
    MOI Certificate
    Certificate III or higher qualification with an Australian institution.
Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:
  • Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).
(or)
  • Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.
Assessment

Assessments may include written questions, demonstration of tasks/techniques, group activities, in class activities, role play, presentation, work based project, research projects, and workplace observations/evidences.

Award Requirements

A candidate is only entitled for the Certificate, once they have successfully completed all units of the course – BSB60420 ADVANCED DIPLOMA OF LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT.

On the other hand, candidates who have done a partial completion of the course will receive a Statement of Attainment, for the units they are deemed competent.

Pathway From Qualification

Essential Information

Recognition of Prior Learning / Credit Transfer

ISMT College recognises qualifications issued by other RTOs. At the same time, accept and mutually recognise the qualifications and Statements of Attainment, awarded by any other registered training organisation unless precluded by licensing requirements. We also consider and grant Credit Transfer for subjects or units you have completed where equivalence can be established between the unit in your course, and the subject or unit you have completed.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process wherein candidates’ skills and knowledge that has been gained through work and life experience and other unrecognised training will be formally recognised.

ISMT College will discuss with the candidate the process and options for RPL, during the entry process and interview stage. The suitability of the candidate is often determined on how much experience one had in certain area, their work history and previous training.

If RPL is determined that as a candidate you have a possibility. Then you will be provided with a kit, that will guide you in working through each unit, to determine relevant skills and experience and identify whether you would be able to provide the required evidence.

Unique Student Identifier (USI) Requirement

It has been made mandatory for all students studying VET coursed in Australia to use a USI.

The USI is available online & free of cost to the student. The USI will stay with the student for life and be recorded with any nationally recognised VET course that is completed.

Note: – A USI can only be created after you have arrived in Australia and information on how to do this will be included in your orientation.

Orientation

ISMT College provides orientation to assist students through culturally appropriate program. Candidates will only be permitted to attend classes after they have completed the orientation session for the enrolled courses.
